Jeff Korsmo will now be the full-time executive director of the Mayo Clinic Health Policy Center. Korsmo has served in this position in a limited, part-time role while also serving as chief administrative officer (CAO) for Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
The full-time appointment underscores Mayo Clinic’s commitment to play an important role in achieving substantive patient-centered health care reform at a national level, as the new president and his administration, Congress, and leadership across multiple sectors focus on this complex and critical issue.
Korsmo brings significant health care and administrative experience to his new role. He has been a member of the Mayo Clinic administrative team from more than 25 years and, in 2002, became CAO of Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
