More than 130 leaders in medical and health care education joined Mayo Clinic education leaders in Rochester April 27-28 to discuss reforms needed in the education system to support health care reform nationally.
Jeff Korsmo, executive director of the Mayo Clinic Health Policy Center, summarizes the highlights of the symposium. Summaries and Web casts of each session can be viewed on the Web site.

What reforms are actually planned to be implemented,I’ve gone through your blog, checked the website but wasn’t able to get any clue about the reforms that were discussed at the Mayo Clinic.
Hi Laboratory CE
Thanks for your post. This is a first step; an official summary of the event, along with next steps should be coming out in the next few weeks. It is likely that a series of forums will be held to get into further detail on each of the recommendations.
Summaries and Web casts of each session can be seen here: http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthpolicycenter/2009-summaries.html .
There is still much work to be done. If you would be interested in participating in future events to come up with specific recommendations, please let us know.
so what regulations in new york make health insurance higher? and what lack of regulation in CT makes insurance companies happy to accept lower revenues?
