Our Point of View lays out the path we believe health care reform needs to take and what needs to be accomplished to ensure high-quality, affordable, accessible health care for all. The Leadership Perspective is our current take on the health care reform issues of the day including paying for value, insuring everyone, Medicare reform, and the facts about end-of-life care.

Mayo’s POV has some pretty good recommendations and I thank you for your efforts in this very personal debate our country is in. I have to tell you though, the one recommendation that almost made me fall out of my chair was:
- Require Americans to purchase health insurance
I hate to tell you folks, but I believe this is still the United States of America. No gov’t can tell a citizen to buy a product. That would be blantantly unconstitutional and coercive. Health Insurance is a product/commodity.
